Experian Group became an independent company, listed on the London Stock Exchange, on 11 October 2006. This followed the successful demerger from our parent company, GUS, a long-established retail and business services conglomerate in the UK.
The demerger was the culmination of the GUS strategy, begun in 2000, to focus on businesses with above-average growth potential. The demerger of Experian was designed to give shareholders the opportunity to invest directly in the future growth potential of our business. |
