Experian supports clients in over 65 countries and across a broad range of industry sectors. Some of our client relationships have been in place for over 25 years.
Financial services clients account for 53% of our sales, direct-to-consumer for 14%, retail and home shopping for 11% and telecommunications, utilities and insurance for 7%. The balance is accounted for by government, publishing and media, and automotive.
Our business is managed on a geographic basis with the four key regions being: North America, Latin America, UK and Ireland and EMEA/Asia Pacific (Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific). This structure enables Experian to understand the different needs and constraints of each local market and serve both domestic and international clients effectively within each region.
On a pro forma basis in the year to March 2007, 53% of sales came from North America, 23% from UK and Ireland, 16% from EMEA/Asia Pacific and 8% from Latin America.
